Fire relief fund for the Block Family in Kansas City MO

In the evening hours of Feb 5, my sister’s family and home were devastated by a house fire. My sister’s husband, a beloved father and grandfather lost his life from injuries sustained while helping family members escape the fire. He died at the hospital shortly thereafter. Household contents, my sister and two grandsons’ personal belongings were also lost. One grandson is 16 and currently a sophomore in high school, the other grandson is 8 and is on the autism spectrum with special needs.

Due to previous medical concerns, they did not have adequate coverage/protection from a disaster such as this. Unfortunately, they don’t have the funds necessary to get back on their feet, back to school, and on with their lives.
