I am 26 years old Man of God from Johannesburg,Daveyton Doing My first DTS 2017 at YWAM Muizenberg,

I am raising funds to pay for my lecture fees and to pay for my Outreach missionary trip in Israel, Lebanon and Jordan to minister to Syria refugees at refugee camp sites.doing my volunteering work for peacemaking efforts and healing.

This time I’ve followed my heart to South Africa most beautiful city Cape Town to be a servant for the Lord. In whatever magical way that may be, I will do so with the wonderful program, Youth With A Mission.

I’ve been inspired to serve. I've been dreaming about an adventure as well as being Son of God,With the support of YWAM I will be embracing the country by first doing through YWAM’s DTS, (Discipleship Training School). DTS is a pre-requisite to being a missionary through YWAM when completed.

The first 3 months are going to be at the base in Muizenberg. There my ‘team’ who have applied for the school around the world, challenging ourselves to be fully ready to serve in whatever calling we gravitate towards.
Choosing a country from the options YWAM provides, our team will then go to Middle East to serve there for the last 3 months. At the end of our mission, we debrief back in Muizenberg.
With the largest arts culture I can just feel that it’s a place God will do wondrous things. With the beautiful city I know many youth especially youth, can be reached with endless opportunities.

I want to travel, met many people, gained work ethic, responsibility, confidence, and how to be a part of something larger than myself from art. Now I feel if there’s anyway I can give this gift in a place in such a time as this, then that would be a dream for me!.

For the remaining 3 months, I still need to raise funds of around R12,000. I calculated my rent/utilities R1,500, food R1,200, internet/phone, R400, and extras (train travel, toiletries, hair cut, etc.) R1000.So about R4,000 a month with 3 months of May, June and July left I need around R12,000. This equates to around $1,700 for 3 months longer here in South Africa. God always supplies and never fails so I must have faith. I could possibly live on more or less so I am trying to not stress about this. Please keep me in your prayers. There are also so many other YWAMers around me who struggle for schools, accommodation, even a day’s train ticket. Please keep them in your prayers to continue in the steps God has called them.

The Discipleship Training School is more an experience than it is a school. An experience where you develop truth, faith, and character. If you’re tired of the normal classroom setting where you sit back in your chair and absorb facts from a talking head then this is the place for u. A place where we mix classroom with real life and expose you to experiences that leave you and the world changed forever. During your DTS you will journey into the heart of God. This journey involves learning to see God, yourself and others as God does. It is a time that will instil within you a heart for everyone to know him, and it is a place where you will be given the opportunity to put that heart into action through hands on experience in ministry in Muizenberg as well as on your outreach. At the heart of any DTS is this…to know God and to make Him known
