THE PRODUCT:

CANU is an inflatable lounge chair that is lightweight and portable - just toss it in its carrying bag, and carry it along to all your outdoor activities! Easy to use. No unwieldy pumps necessary. Just unroll it, "scoop" some air into it, roll the end shut and- Voila! - you are ready to lounge for hours.

Use it alone, or kickback with a few friends. Its rugged, lightweight design makes it ideal for travel and use in any outdoor environment. Use it at the pool or on the beach. Take it with you on a hike through the woods or over rough, rocky terrain. You can even easily tote it with you to the ski slopes and always have a dry seat to rest on in between runs.

PRODUCT DETAILS:

CANU is made from rip-stop, parachute material with an inner plastic liner which allows it to hold air. It weighs in at 3.4lbs and will arrive in a drawstring, backpack style bag (not shown here), allowing you to easily carry it with you everywhere. It has a small loop on one end which will allow you to anchor it in place. It also has a bottle opener integrated into the closing latch, allowing you to easily pop open your favorite, cold beverage! Fully inflated, it is approximately 6 feet in length and can hold up to 500lbs. It will remain inflated for around 6 hours of lounging time. And yes, our tests have proven that it will float on water. However, I recommend you leave it slightly underinflated in order to improve stability on water. There are 6 color options: black, blue, green, orange, pink, and purple. Please be sure to indicate your color choice when you make your contribution. We hope to add more color options soon, please let us know what colors you would like to see (I'm thinking green and pink camoflauge options...).

THE STORY:

I am a single mother of four kids. Ever since my children were very young, it has always been important for me to find products that were compact, lightweight, portable, durable and....cheap. As they have grown, the children and I have loved to be in the outdoors. But again, even a trip to the beach becomes cumbersome when you are dragging along all the gear for yourself and 4 kids.

Recently, I came across an ad on my Facebook page for an item similar to the one we are offering here (I won't mention names, but I'm sure you can easily find them with the help of our good friend Mr. Google). I instantly fell in love, however, I felt the price was too high. But, I really wanted these. And I knew my fellow outdoor adventurers, beachgoers, and sports parents would want these too. So I set out to find a manufacturer who could produce the same product, but at a lower price.
